All set for the European Championship of Champions in Chania

Chania is the place to be this week for the European bowling champions, who have gathered up at the beautiful isle of Crete and are ready to celebrate their return to normality, at the European Championship of Champions.

After a long wait, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament is finally ready to start at the “Mega Place” bowling hall of the ever-hospitable Greek city, under a strict health protocol and with all necessary measures for the protection of all participants.

A total of 55 national champions (30 men, 25 women) from 29 countries will participate in the ECC 2021, which promises to be an instant success and speaks loudly of the European bowling community’s desire to get back in action.

The event will be special for yet another reason, as it will be the first one hosted by the newly-founded Hellenic Federation of Precision Sports, the new official institutional body for the sport of bowling in Greece.
